The November 2023 General Conference will be postponed!
Given the magnitude of the spiritual and physical time and labor urgency required in preparing the Place of Refuge – South Unit by the press of the Spirit of God in accordance with the revelations received, the living Prophet Mauricio Artur Berger, with the consensus of the General Authorities, have determined that the scheduled November 2023 Conference and possibly the April 2024 Conference be delayed until June 2024 to administer the duties required by the direction of the Lord. The new dates will be revealed as we petition the Father of the Vineyard but we are not prepared to give at the present time. There may be virtual meetings set up to handle the administrative and business affairs as required by the General Authorities in the Church of Christ.
We are keenly aware of the financial challenges that this brings into the hopes, dreams, and desires of the faithful Saints abroad, yet we take joy in the labors to prepare the Place of Refuge – South Unit for the next General Conference as directed and revealed by the Lord.
The urgency of the tasks revealed and placed upon our living prophet Mauricio by the Father of the Vineyard, required to prepare the place of refuge south in accordance with the plan of heaven will prevent hosting a General Conference in Brazil. The laborers are few who are presently engaged in the building up of the Place of Refuge – South Unit to get everything ready, as directed and required by the Lord before a year has passed. When dedicated laborers arrive, there is an additional burden added to those dedicated workers already overtasked in the several duties and responsibilities.
The purchase of the property for the Place of Refuge – South Unit has just recently been executed and now it is the time for developing the detailed implementation plans and schedule based on the tasks, skills, efforts, resources, and costs for establishing the design and order expected by the living Prophet Mauricio in carrying out the many tasks designated in the longer-term plans in our Father’s Vineyard. Skills experience, availability, and capability of those willing to contribute will be assessed for alignment and harmonization of the talents and experience that could be applied to the tasks if, and only if, they add substantially to the progress without adding undue burdens to those already engaged in the labors. The administrative details for the implementation planning to achieve the results required by the Lord of the Vineyard will be developed going forward in accordance with the plan of the heavens.
