Antroposinaistima – Portuguese Anthroposynaisthima – English
My Beloved Sisters and Brothers, may we find strength in the words of Zenos, the Prophet, as a delightful joyful directive for our labors in the Second Invitation as recorded in Jacob 5:71.
And the Lord of the vineyard said unto them: Go to, and labor in the vineyard, with your might. For behold, this is the last time that I shall nourish my vineyard; for the end is nigh at hand, and the season speedily cometh; and if ye labor with your might with me ye shall have joy in the fruit which I shall lay up unto myself against the time which will soon come.
I wish to emphasize the words “ye shall have joy in the fruit” as the divine design for us before the foundation of the world and as Adam and Eve partook of the fruit in the Garden of Eden, recorded in 2 Nephi 2:25.
Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.
It is this joy that is the fruit of the Spirit of God that we receive as we exercise the gifts of God in the proper sentiments and interactions with our fellow man as written in The Sealed Book of Moses 3:42.
These same feelings were established even before the foundation of the world to interact with the human sensibility, so that the children of men, even without the priesthood of God, can identify in midst of their fleshly nature those good feelings that proceed from God to guide them in the way of justice and charity.
An example of how this process is used and developed was given to Brother Oliver Cowdery recorded in D&C 9:8.
But, behold, I say unto you, that you must study it out in your mind; then you must ask me if it be right, and if it is right I will cause that your bosom shall burn within you; therefore, you shall feel that it is right.
In this we find that in order to receive the peaceful joy of the Lord we are to respond with our fellow man after you study it out in your mind and then you must ask God if it be the right reaction before executing the righteous action. This close communion with God and our fellow man may then bring the fruit of joy we seek in Zion. The communion of the spirits of men and heaven is imperative in the building up of the kingdom of God with all elements.
The conjunction of two Greek words provides the name of the process in both languages which is defined as “human feelings or sentiments.” It is the consensus of the General Authorities that the printed and electronic spelling of those words conform to the following standard:
Antroposinaistima in Portuguese
Anthroposynaisthima in English
There will be more information, training, and instruction on this methodology in the Study Classes and School of the Prophets in the future. This same training was required from Moses to Israel in the desert as recorded in The Sealed Book of Moses 3:51.
… so that my people would observe my power acting within themselves, in relation to my priesthood, when I gave you the key to this knowledge to teach them clearly in the desert, so that they could have full communion with me the Lord, and that it is only through the use of the right feelings which they should have in their hearts that it is possible to make use of the attributions derived from the priesthood authority of the Son of God, and that there is no other way of subduing the powers of the heavens and establishing the “Order of Enoch”, except in accordance with the invocation of the high sentiments which pertain to that order…
Yes, the faith of the elect sons and daughters of God is based on the noble feelings that are derived from the gifts of the Spirit of God as exercised in our faithful walk before God and man found in The Sealed Book of Moses 3:70, 72.
And what is faith? — Behold, faith is the sum of all the feelings of trust that are in your hearts which nullify the feelings of fear and doubt as to my performance among those who are my elect. (verse 70)
This joy of communion with God and our family of like precious faith must spill out from the touch of our spirits in our homes, villages, nations and society as a whole.
It is up to you, therefore, to awaken this spark in the hearts of this people, which adds power in the unity of feelings, and I, the Lord, am talking about the church collectively, because when the unity coexists among you, then you become one in Me. (verse 72)
God has said, “if ye are not one, ye are not mine” and so this oneness is sought as the peaceful and precious joy in our homes to fulfil our labors for Zion as given in the Acts of the Three Nephites 10:7.
If the guidelines of our home are the teachings of Jesus Christ, then we will live in homes where joy reigns, whose branches of our posterity will be firmly rooted in the fruits of the Holy Spirit; love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance; these being the feelings that must fill our earthly abode, as being a heavenly refuge. And, behold, joy is one of its fruits and will overflow through the walls in the homes of Zion.
It is prophesied by Zenos in Jacob 5:72 that the faithful servants in the Second Invitation would go and labor with their might as they gave heed and listened to the Prophet as in the reference example of Alma (see Acts of the Three Nephites 13:2-5 and Mosiah 18:29).
And it came to pass that the servants did go and labor with their mights; and the Lord of the vineyard labored also with them; and they did obey the commandments of the Lord of the vineyard in all things. (Jacob 5:72)
