Two Panels of Apostles Announcement: It is my joy to rehearse here the words of the Prophet Zenos to guide our labors in the Second Invitation that we are enjoined and committed to labor in with all due diligence as the divine essence unifies our hearts and souls together as one before the throne of God. As a bride, we have put on the beautiful garments and now must labor in the power present in the Melchizedek High Priesthood in developing the purifying power and sanctifying strength needed for developing the refuge city in the vineyard of the Lord.
And on the day when I the Lord shall again stretch out my hand a second time to recover my people, it will be the day, yea, the last time that the servants of the Lord will, with their power, take care of His vineyard and will prune it; and after that, soon the end will come. (Acts of the Three Nephites 14:57)
In fulfilling the directions given to the General Authorities by way of revelation, we have assembled and are developing the two apostolate quorums of twelve ministers.
- Under the direction of the First Presidency of the United Order of Zion, there are twelve ministers called together in reflection of the Nephite Apostles referred to as the Executive Quorum of Apostles. The twelve members have been paired together to do focused research on topics required to develop teaching and training manuals and materials.
- Under the direction of the First Presidency of the Church of Christ there are twelve ministers reflecting the twelve tribes of Israel referred to as the Quorum of Apostles in Zion. The twelve members have been paired together to do focused research to develop instructions and training manuals and materials.
- Further, we are developing the five ministry elements reflecting the counsel of the Apostle Paul (e.g. apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers – Ephesians 4:11).
Currently, these two quorums have selected to meet in joint council on the last Monday of each month to receive instructions, spiritual guidance, and development as they complete the Five Ministries’ Committee commitments. Each quorum meets separately on the first Monday of every month to discuss progress, spiritual clarification and direction for each ministry pair.
General Conference Announcement: Further, I am announcing that due to sobering safety concerns that have continued to develop and escalate during the month of September and, without civil mitigation, are expected to be present in the upcoming months in the Agudo and Palhoca vicinities, the General Authorities of this Church of Christ have determined to curtail the General Conference activities to the single day of Saturday, November 30, 2024 as a strictly on-line conference event. We are pleased to announce that there will be several bi-lingual pre-recorded presentations, providing excellent spiritual witness, testimony, and inspirational messages from the General Authorities and the Youth Voices that are vital for our current moment in history. It is our plan to provide the on-line conference which will commence broadcasting from a venue in Brazil on the morning of November 30, at 10 AM (7 AM CST, USA), and in the afternoon at 3 PM (12 Noon CST, USA) we will continue broadcasting from Brazil additional bi-lingual presentations. I invite you all to attend the conference during this exciting and very challenging time in the history of the Second Invitation labors in the Vineyard of the Father.
Although this will be an online General Conference, please prepare yourself spiritually and physically to heed the call to join in this online event.
