The Fountain of Living Waters Society, as mentioned in current revelations, is the name given by God to the women’s organization in this Second Invitation. This name is in place of that instituted by Joseph Smith in the 19th century, when it was known as the Relief Society. Its objective is to help those among the members of the Church of Christ who suffer from deprivations, which can be physical, material, emotional and spiritual; and acting directly for the benefit of the poor, sick, and needy.
As an international organization, currently presided over by Melva Anne Cackler, this Society proposes a transformation of our children and young people among the members of the Second Invitation in order to shape their characters, and to have exemplary citizens among us—a people freed from precepts and prejudices to become throughout their life development, the best representatives that society can have. Mothers will work together so that their sons and daughters will become the elected generation, just as it was in the days of Enoch, being filled with good feelings, such as: altruism, positivity, self-confidence, compassion, charity, and faith in God.
