Notice is given that adequate spiritual, personal and financial preparations can be made in anticipation of the General Assembly that has been directed by revelation for July 04, 2026. (Note: This is only nine (9) months away my beloved brothers and sisters of the Covenant.)
This issue of the Herald carries an informative article by our Sister Renee Sheryl Crowell, First Counselor, International Fountain of Living Waters, Hebrew Poetry in the Sealed Book — Part 1 which introduces the reader to Hebraic structures found embedded in the words of the Sealed Book from the Plates of Mormon as translated by the gift and power of God through the Seer Mauricio Artur Berger. The Bible, Book of Mormon, and latter-day revelations show evidence of these poetic devices used for effective knowledge transfer which tend to survive from the native text into a second language.
I am deeply touched by My Testimony by Paulo Jorge de Oliveira Pereira, Council of Apostles, who provides his witness to the marvelous work and wonder in the bringing forth of the Sealed Book from the Plates of Mormon as the Lord set his hand again a second time (2 Ne 29:1;[2 Ne 12:40]). Yes, God has chosen to write his words of testimony upon the fleshy heart his servant: “Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men; Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God–not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart. And such trust have we through Christ toward God.” (2 Cor. 3:2-4).
Let us soberly consider the impress and indelible touch of the eternal words given in the Sealed Book of Mormon from the Plates of Mormon which clearly states the words of Alma that “our faith is not a perfect knowledge” with the understanding that we require a burning desire to learn more as we walk in the spirit of light unto that perfect day offered to the faithful. We do stand in our faith, but that alone does not make us a point of authority – because we do not have perfect knowledge. The deadly virus encapsulated in the precepts and traditions of man has infected our thinking, this requires us to use our particle of faith to go unto perfection in the principles and doctrines of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So, desire to remember what was said by Alma, that “faith is not perfect knowledge”. The same is true of these words of mine. At first, you can not be sure of them until you awaken your spiritual faculties, testing the words of this record as a result of what was written by the ancient prophets, and exercise a particle of faith in your quest for knowledge of the mysteries of God, still though you only have the desire to know the truth behind my words, and let this desire operate in your heart and mind, until you comprehend the fullness of these mysteries, so that you may with all diligence add to your faith the virtue of this new perception. (Acts of the Three Nephites 1:7).
If we treat lightly the things that are revealed to us in this last part of the Dispensation of the Fullness of Times, we cannot expect the knowledge to expand, but to be captivated by the devil unto destruction (D&C 84:54; [83:8a]) even as Alma wrote.
And now, Alma began to expound these things unto him, saying, It is given unto many to know the mysteries of God; Nevertheless, they are laid under a strict command that they shall not impart, only according to the portion of his word which he doth grant unto the children of men, according to the heed and diligence which they give unto him. And therefore, he that will harden his heart, the same receiveth the lesser portion of the word; And he that will not harden his heart, to him is given the greater portion of the word until it is given unto him to know the mysteries of God, until they know them in full; And they that will harden their hearts, to them is given the lesser portion of the word until they know nothing concerning his mysteries; And then they are taken captive by the devil and led by his will down to destruction. (Alma 12:9-11; [9:15-20]).
The loss of knowledge comes from when we reject the words given of God in accordance with the law of testimonies (D&C 6:28-29; [6:13a]) just as Moroni admonished us in the Sealed Book of Mormon from the Plates of Mormon.
And it shall come to pass with those who harden their hearts to this second part, when it shall be revealed unto the children of men, that even the knowledge of the first part will be taken away from them and they will remain attached to the precepts of men; they will honor the Lord with their lips but they will be far from his ways; they will be convinced of their faith in the first part previously revealed of these records saying, we have enough, and we are not ready for more scriptures. From this will be taken even what little of the knowledge they have until they have nothing left but their traditions. (SB Moroni V16).
My beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus, let us arise out from under the dust of the decades and bathe in the pleasing words of God as he purges the dirt and filth from off our garments that we may be sanctified in the spirit of judgement and burning in accordance with the words of Isaiah.
And it shall come to pass, they that are left in Zion and he that remaineth in Jerusalem shall be called holy, even everyone that is written among the living in Jerusalem, when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning. (Isaiah 4:3-4).
