Visual Identity
We, Mormons of the Sealed Book, believe that the prophecy foretold in 2 Nephi 27:21-23 in the Book of Mormon regarding the emergence of the sealed portion among the rebellious people of the restored church in the last days, who draw near to the Lord with their mouth and with their lips they honor Him, but they have turned away their hearts from Him, and their fear of God is taught, no longer according to their restored doctrine, but according to the precepts of men (2 Nephi 27:24-26) culminates in the rescue of a remnant group coming from the gospel restored by Joseph Smith in the 19th century and which in current times embraces Mormons from all branches of the restoration who were divided after his martyrdom and subsist independent of their churches and which, the prophecy described in this context, in which concerns the emergence of the Sealed Book, occurs when the two chosen nations in the Americas walk together, and the testimonies of these two nations, referring to the emergence of the Book of Mormon in the USA and the Emergence of the Sealed Book of Mormon in Brazil, also walk together (2 Nephi29:8), this is when the Lord stretches out his hand for the second and final time to rescue his people, who are the remnants of the house of Israel.
For this reason, our Visual Identity has the flags of these two nations, while the Eagle between them, prefigures God himself as described in the text of Deuteronomy 32:11, where he is represented as being “an eagle” protecting the nation elected as if they were its young and has its head facing the American flag to show the care and concern it has for this nation, whose foundations of its constitution heralded the fullness of times and which remains in force forever as the central stake of Zion.
The large pentacle star at the top of the Logo, facing its main point upwards, represents Jesus, as “the bright and Morning Star” (Revelation 22:16) and the other stars, similar to those in the Nauvoo temple, represent the two quorums of presidency, with the one on the right, the three presidents of the United Order of Enoch and those on the left, the three presidents of the Church of Christ, while the stars below represent the seven thunders of the prophecy of Revelation 10:4, which Joseph Smith taught were presiding prophets over the existing dispensations from the beginning to the fullness of time, beginning with Adam; Enoch; Noah; Abraham; Moses; Jesus and Joseph Smith himself.
